Mitigation efforts to reduce forest fires include sustainable forest management and better agricultural techniques. For example, an agroforestry approach, which combines tree planting with agriculture, can help maintain soil moisture and prevent fires. In addition, public education and awareness about the dangers of forest fires is very important in preventing high-risk practices. At the global level, greater steps are needed, including cooperation between countries to address this problem. International agreements and policies that target the reduction of emissions from deforestation and forest fires are key to ensuring environmental protection and human survival. Through collaboration, innovative technology, and a commitment to protecting nature, communities can reduce the negative impacts of forest fires, ensuring a sustainable and healthy future for future generations.
